How I Discovered Ayurveda
When I discovered Ayurveda for the first time, I was in great physical shape; exercising everyday (sometimes twice) and intermittent fasting which made me feel extremely healthy. But for some reason, I would experience seemingly random symptoms like chest pains, inflammation, hormonal imbalances, skin and digestive issues...the list goes on.
I would visit my family doctor (who had great intentions) but they would either put me on Naproxen for the chest pains or birth control for the hormones.
It bothered me that my doctor wasn’t curious enough to get to the root problem of my symptoms and would rather give me medication than help me understand my body more.
That’s when I found Ayurveda, a 5000 year old Indian life science that connects the mind, body and soul holistically, to identify the root cause of all symptoms and provides curated lifestyles for each of us to truly reach our optimal health.
It gave me answers about what affects me specifically, further understanding of my own body, and the steps I need to take to not only look better but feel better.
The science of Ayurveda impacts every aspect of my life and the great part is, I am still on this journey as I am helping others with theirs.
