M.A.N.T.R.A.

Living in a city that’s considered the heart of capitalism, I’ve learned that disciplining my mind is more important than ever. With so many illusions around me, it is almost too easy to get distracted, get on the wrong path, or be pulled into a materialistic life that is not real.

When I feel the pressure getting to me and cutting off my flow, I close my eyes and say this:

I relinquish any attachment to any ideas and preconceived desires to materials I had before. I relinquish any attachment to a job in New York City. If that is not my path, then it is simply not my path.

I relinquish the desire for money and affluence. I relinquish the thought that money equals freedom.

I am alive whether or not I have money. Whatever that figure in my bank account changes to each day, I am still here and I am still alive.

My power lies within me and it is infinite.
